How to address the judge

• The municipal judge should be addressed as "Judge Long" or "Your Honor."

Dress Code

• Proper attire is required in the courtrooms. The following accessories and items of clothing are not permitted at Municipal Court:

  • Short shorts

  • Hats (all types, excluding religious headwear)

  • Muscle shirts and tank tops

Cell Phones & Electronic Devices

• Cell phones must be on silent mode while in the courtroom.

Prohibited Items

• The following items are prohibited at Municipal Court and should be left in your vehicle:

  • Guns and/or holsters

  • Knives

  • Mace

  • Scissors or medical tools

  • Glass objects or containers

  • Sharp objects (includes tweezers, screwdrivers, knitting needles, crochet hooks, etc.)
